We’re stepping into December — the first true month of winter and one of the most serene times of the year. The air turns crisp, frost settles across lawns, and the last signs of fall fade into the quiet stillness of the colder season. It’s the moment when landscapes shift into full dormancy and homeowners look ahead to ensuring their property is protected for the months of snow and ice ahead.
Embracing the Depth of Winter
December brings shorter days, colder afternoons, and the start of winter weather that defines New England’s landscape. While plants rest beneath the surface, your property still requires attention to stay safe, healthy, and resilient. This transitional period may feel calm, but the work you do now establishes a strong foundation that carries your landscape from winter through the first signs of spring.

We don’t just celebrate our employees once a month—we celebrate them every chance we get! Every week, our managers come together to review current projects, explore ways to improve, and plan how to keep our momentum going strong. A key part of these meetings is recognizing outstanding team members through employee of the month, core value employee nominations, and crew highlights.
Now, we’re excited to share all of last month’s nominations in our newsletter, shining a spotlight on the hardworking individuals who make your landscapes look amazing. These are the people behind the scenes, bringing dedication, skill, and heart to every project.

It may be my new hobby to give Egan Wholesale Nursery and Egan Landscape sterling reviews. We worked closely with our assigned project manager, Elise. She was knowledgable, skilled, personable and oversaw our modest landscape project with professional execution. She listened to our concerns and lent her expertise in finalizing our plan. Louis and Jilmar, were the work crew assigned to project. They were a stunning team! Both of them were extremely hard working, and lent their attentions to every possible detail in planting our four new trees. They were exceptional. It is without a single reservation that my husband and I would recommend Egan Landscape. I may apply to become their official cheer leader!Posted on Google![]()

From start to finish, the project completed by Egan was superb! During the blizzard of 2026, all of our mature arborvitae trees were severely damaged. We wanted a natural privacy fence between our house and our neighbors, so we contacted Egan who sent Andrea Pereira to consult. I met with her and immediately trusted her which is how I like to do business. The same day we met, she sent me a proposal which I immediately accepted. It took me a week to remove the old trees and mark the property line in preparation for Egan. Once they received the new arborvitaes, it took them only two days to remove all the landscape debris and 9 stumps, prepare the area, cut back encroaching vegetation, and plan 19 new trees. Very happy with the result! We have several other projects in the works, not the least of which is widening and replacing our existing driveway using paving stones and extending the existing irrigation system and landscape lighting to cover the new trees. Will definitely look to Egan for these projects!Posted on Google![]()

We are extremely happy with the work Patrick and Jilmar did on our property. While it may have been a small job for your team, it was a big deal for our family. Patrick and Jilmar arrived on time, were very courteous, and got straight to work. They quickly spread the large pile of loam and cleared out all the weeds, transforming our backyard garden from a jungle into a beautiful space. We truly appreciate that your team provided fair pricing and treated our small project with the same importance as a much larger job. We will definitely be doing business with Egan Landscape Group again. Sandi SilviaPosted on Google![]()
