Our landscape construction crew installed a new walkway, small patio, and refreshed the front yard plantings at this home on Chariot Crossing in Bourne. Replacing the old brick walkway and overgrown shrubs gave the property a much-needed facelift and improved both curb appeal and functionality.
We installed two new walkway paths from the driveway—one following the original footprint and another extending straight to the front steps. These paths connect to a central 11’x11′ patio area and continue toward the front door, totaling 375 square feet of new hardscape.
We used Cambridge Ledgestone pavers in the color Limestone Quarry Blend (Smooth Finish) and bordered the walkways with cobblestones to add visual interest and define the refreshed planting beds. Two granite steps were added to ensure a smooth and attractive transition from the porches to the walkway.
To address existing drainage issues, we installed a drywell system beneath the walkway to capture and redirect runoff water. The walkway was finished with polymeric sand to ensure durability and reduce weed growth.
After construction, all disturbed lawn areas were raked and seeded.
