Mashpee Backyard Patio Retreat
This Mashpee homeowner wanted a functional and stylish backyard patio that could serve as the centerpiece for outdoor gatherings. Our team designed and installed a spacious Cambridge paver patio with clean lines, warm tones, and striking border accents. The result is a durable, low-maintenance outdoor living space built to be enjoyed for years to come.
Design & Planning Process
The goal was to create a backyard patio that would elevate the space with timeless style while keeping maintenance simple.
- Designed a patio layout approximately 19′ x 16′
- Selected Cambridge Ledgestone XL Smooth pavers in Toffee/Onyx Lite for warmth and character
- Added a Coal-colored sailor course border for crisp definition
- Coordinated with the client on incorporating some landscape cleanup within the project scope
Scope of Work
From the very first step to the finishing touches, our team managed every detail of this Mashpee backyard patio installation. The project began with a careful excavation and preparation of the site, ensuring a solid foundation with compacted gravel. Once the base was secure, we added a precise 3/8″ chip stone bedding layer to achieve proper leveling and long-term stability.
With the foundation ready, our crew installed a custom paver layout using Cambridge Ledgestone XL Smooth stones in a warm, natural tone. To frame the design and give the patio a polished look, we incorporated a sailor course border with complementary Cambridge pavers in a darker shade, adding definition and contrast. Polymeric sand was applied throughout the joints, locking the pavers into place and enhancing durability against weather and wear.
Finally, the project was wrapped up with a thorough site cleanup and a client walkthrough to ensure every detail met expectations. The result is a stylish, functional outdoor living space that’s built to last.
