Poolside Paradise

This project began with full site preparation for the pool patio, including grading, leveling, and the installation of a solid base to support the hardscape. The new patio featured high-end materials, including bullnose coping, a multi-piece paver layout, and a detailed border for a clean, finished look. Drainage systems and conduit sleeves were installed beneath the patio to manage water flow and allow for future utilities such as irrigation or lighting. A natural stone retaining wall with granite steps was built to create a smooth transition between different elevations on the property, improving both function and aesthetics.

To complete the layout, a granite and bluestone walkway was constructed along the side of the pool, offering a natural, flowing path to the upper patio area. After the hardscape was completed, new planting beds were installed with a mix of daylilies, hydrangeas, grasses, and evergreens to provide seasonal interest and structure. Lawn areas were restored with fresh loam, sod, and hydroseed, while additional crushed stone was placed in key areas for a clean, low-maintenance finish. From planning to final planting, this project was thoughtfully executed to deliver a functional and inviting outdoor space that balances beauty, structure, and sustainability.
